CHRIS LISCIANDRO HOSTING ANOTHER LOCAL TOURNAMENT JUNE 20TH


Chris Lisciandro will be hosting another tournament June 20th 2009. This will the 5th tournament BJJC will be hosting. Last year the competition was excellent! Local clubs showing what their skill level. Hollywood Jiu Jitsu took plenty of victories and we hope to see them again along with Z force Jiu Jitsu in Woodland Hills and Simi Valley Jiu Jitsu. This is the first tournament of the year and will host many more to come. We look forward to seeing your school compete in our tournament!

RENATO MAGNO SEMINAR COMING TO BJJC




Renato Magno will be doing a seminar at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club on Aug 16th 2008. Renato Magno has been involved with Jiu-Jitsu for nearly 30 years and has many students that were World, National, and Brazilian Champions. Renato has earned numereous distinctions during his competitive career such as Pan-American gold medalist and is also the author of several books and instructional videos about jiu-jitsu. BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU CLUB'S SUMMER OPEN TOURNAMENT



July 19th and 20th, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club is throwing a local tournament "BJJC SUMMER OPEN TOURNAMENT". This will be the 3rd tournament that BJJC is hosting. Competitors representing prestigious schools from all over the Los Angeles, Orange county, San Bernadino, and Surrounding cities have competed in BJJC's tournaments. Schools that have competed include Jean Jacques Machado Jiu Jitsu, Shawn Williams's students at Hollywood Jiu jitsu, New Breed Jiu Jitsu, Z force Jiu Jitsu in Woodland Hills Ca, Aloisio Silva Jiu Jitsu, Renato Magno's students at Street Sports, Team Selva Jiu Jitsu, and many other great schools.






Chris Lisciandro made a name for himself by winning many national and world tournaments including Pan Americans, Gracie Worlds, Gracie Nationals. For the last 7 years, Chris trained with the mentality of "Never taking a day off", including continuous cardio and strenth training, and a healthy diet. Chris being a 2 time Gracie National Champion, 5 time Pan American Champion, and 7 time National Champion, knows the tournament circuit well and coaches his students on the ins and outs of competing. From what foods to stay away from, diet plans, days you should rest, and other student to coach information. This type of championship reputation attracts competitors to compete in his tournaments.
